Probably not me....

Brian Kuhl received a one dollar bill with the words "I'm sorry Linnsey" written on it. Granted, I'm sure there's many who owe me an apology, but I don't think I know anyone who would dot their i with an open circle. If you know another Linnsey, ask them if they recognize it!

I'm getting married!

Dale and I have been together seven years this July. We've talked about getting hitched before and agreed that we'd probably get married eventually. We'd somewhat been putting off any more detailed discussions because of my sister's impending wedding. Then I started wondering why we were waiting.

Me: "I had a really crazy idea."
Dale: "Oh? What?"
Me: "Let's get married."
(pause)
Dale: "Sure."

Now that it's settled, we've both been tripping. We're the first in several of our social circles to get engaged, so there were a lot of "No way!"s, "Oh my God"s, and even a "Shut up!".

We don't know the venue, the state, have any idea of the date or even have rings yet. I'm not looking forward to a long engagement, but with our game in May, my sister's wedding in July and me finishing up my MS, I don't think we could do it until 2008.

We also don't know whose name we'll take. Hyphenating is the obvious compromise, but it looks ludicrous and I don't relish the idea of having different names. Unfortunately Dale is resisting my idea of deciding via dice roll.
